United Summit Center is a comprehensive mental health center serving seven counties in
north central West Virginia. United Summit Center and United Hospital Center work together to offer a comprehensive mental health delivery system.

 

 

Consumer Rights

Every client will review and receive a copy of United Summit Center's Client rights brochure which described in detail the various rights each clients has as a consumer of United Summit Center. These rights include: treatment services under conditions that support the client's liberty, an individualized treatment plan or strategy, ongoing participation in the planning of services, the right to refuse treatment, a humane treatment environment, the confidentiality of medical records, the right to assert grievances, access to a qualified advocate, availability to services without discrimination, to exercise civil rights and to be referred as appropriate.
